Just months after hiring 300 people for its Halifax call centre, Minacs Worldwide is laying off workers.
Jeff Williams, the company’s senior vice-president for sales and marketing, confirmed the company is trimming some staff in Halifax after losing one line of business from a customer.
He was unable to provide the number of jobs being cut and said as a corporate policy the names of the clients and the work Minacs does for them is confidential.
