TRURO — Meetings of the Coastal Communities Network have gone digital, with a video-conferencing session at community colleges around Nova Scotia.
Businesses and government have used the technology for some time, but it’s a first for the network, which supports sustainability in Nova Scotia’s rural and coastal communities, said spokeswoman Ishbel Munro.
The technology needs high-speed Internet connections, which are not available in most rural communities, she said.
