Aliant Fraud Protection service ensures Atlantic Canadians enjoy a secure online experience

Saint John, NB - Internet subscribers across Atlantic Canada can now enjoy a more secure online experience as the result of a new security service recently launched by Aliant, Atlantic Canada's leading information and communications technology provider.
In collaboration with Radialpoint, the leading provider of managed Internet services to broadband providers, Aliant's Fraud Protection service ensures customers are protected against phishing. Typically, phishing attacks start with a fraudulent message that requests urgent verification of personal or financial data, and often contains grammatical and spelling errors. They can be blocked, in real-time, ensuring unsuspecting customers don't access known fraudulent sites as they emerge, and informs them that they are potentially at risk of revealing their valuable information to criminals.
