The entire team at T4G Limited, a leading full-service, project-based technology services company, wishes to congratulate colleague Michael Amanfi in capturing the 2007 MSDN Code Award, Individual Developer.
"Michael is one of the more passionate individuals in a company full of people who thrive on innovation and creativity," said T4G President Geoff Flood. "This award is emblematic of what happens when people are inspired because they love their work and are the best at what they do."
Over the past year, Michael Amanfi, took on the challenge of building a toolset that enables business analysts and non-technical users to harness the power of Windows Workflow Foundation, almost as if they were developers themselves.
"Simply put, it bridges the gap between developers and business users," Michael said, adding it is a community project and the source code is available free on his blog
"I am very fortunate to work at an innovative company that encourages creativity and offers the freedom to try new things. Some companies talk a good game, but T4G really does put its employees and customers first and that is a central reason why the company is so successful," Michael says.
The MSDN Code Awards recognize development work that is ground-breaking, forward-thinking and community-building.
Congratulations to Michael for being selected by the community to win the MSDN Code Award. These are critical technologies and Michael's work will broaden their use, not only in the developer community but also with business users." said Mark Relph, Vice-president - Development & Platform Evangelism, Microsoft Canada Co.
"On Saturday June 16, Microsoft Canada President Phil Sorgen presented Michael with his award, a $2,000 winner's prize and $1,000 charitable donation in his name, which will go to the Red Cross and United Way.
Michael is a solution consultant at T4G and is part of the Professional Services team.
