SolutionInc has made another international connection.

The Halifax company, a developer of Internet connectivity, billing and management software, has signed a two-year partnership agreement with TURcom Technology of Istanbul, Turkey.

It will provide SolutionInc’s software and Internet provisioning solutions to the hospitality, tourism, travel and municipal sectors throughout Turkey and potential customers in surrounding countries.

TURcom provides an extensive range of products and solutions, including infrastructure installation, consultation, system integration, telephone technology applications and customer support.

In return, TURcom will explore technology possibilities in Canada.

Clark Squires, senior vice-president, sales and partnerships, SolutionInc, said Tuesday the agreement will provide an opportunity for SolutionInc "to explore" possibilities in Turkey’s hospitality industry.

He said that following meetings with some of the world’s leading hotels located in Turkey "they indicated to us they would like to work with TURcom to use our software."

He said the software is "really a gateway" which allows hotel guests to access the Internet in their rooms...
