Techlink Entertainment of Sydney has teamed up with a major U.S. player in the gaming-technology industry to pursue the responsible-gaming marketplace.
Techlink and Rite Solutions Inc. of Rhode Island jointly announced the alliance on Wednesday.
"The teaming agreement positions Techlink to capitalize on the rapidly expanding global marketplace," John Xidos, president and CEO of Techlink, said in a news release. He said the two groups form an "impressive alliance" that will focus their combined energies and intellectual property in the emerging responsible-gaming sector.
Techlink has developed a process called the Informed Player Choice System, which uses card-based technology to provide players with more control and information when using gaming machines.
