On January 4th, 2008 Sports Direct Inc. located in the Bayers Lake business park of Halifax, layed off aprox. 60 employees. There was no sign or any advance notice of what was going to happen that day. I was on my day off that day as I recieved news of being layed off by phone. Also, Sports direct Inc. layed off aprox. 30 employees of April last year in the same abrubt manner.
