PORT HAWKESBURY — Concerns that Texas company EDS wants to gut the workforce of a Port Hawkesbury call centre were not completely allayed Wednesday when a spokesman confirmed a major restructuring is in the works.
"EDS is clearly looking at reshaping the size of our workforce and looking to take advantage of the opportunities on the Indian subcontinent," communications director James Toccacelli said Wednesday in a phone interview from Toronto.
"But there is nothing specific about the Port Hawkesbury facility."
