Looks to be a lot like the Aliant service from a couple weeks ago. The biggest issue I see with both are the limit coverage areas and also the bulky modems. They need something that is easier to lug around to make this worthwhile. Would however be great for contrators working on client site in a core area, allowing you full net access from your own PC.

For NS they really need to try and extend such a service to the rural areas, that is where this province falls behind with no other option but dialup for most small towns and villages.

Has anyone tried either of these services yet? Be interested to hear some feedback on them

radio says this needs a plug like the alint one so it is ok with desktops too right, not just for laptops

One would assume it would work with any PC yes, there isn't anything special about a laptop other than it is portable. They even mention connecting it to a router for in home/office use.
