Nova Scotia’s smallest post-secondary institution will use some mighty communications technology to graduate 35 students Saturday at five campuses in this province and one on Prince Edward Island.

"We might be the smallest, but we have cutting-edge technology to communicate," said Johanne Leroux, communications director for Universite Sainte Anne.

Conducting a graduation for the college students though computers and video-conferencing is all a matter of course for the institution, which delivers many programs this way and has provided a link for French-speaking communities for years.

Today’s graduation is for graduates of the paramedic, continuing care and computer technology programs.

Graduates cannot tune in from computers at home; they must come to the satellite campus to participate...

too bad their courses are all in french. need more half decent distance learning around here.
